m@gic isnt the sun or the moon :c
this map is at its heart, a celebration of the song in a manner quite unlike anything i've seen in a very long time. it is sometimes slow, ambling and jarring in parts, but it does so with a poise that speaks volumes as to the care that went into its construction.
it is an airy, pensive walk before a sweeping vista, an uncertain buildup and tentative glance out across an empty expanse. then the third chorus hits, and the map spreads its fucking wings, and leads you into glorious flight across that unconquerable void.
forgive the artsy bullshit, but this is simply a culmination of concept and execution that takes place in a map that isn't a 6*+ technical slogfest, and for that, hanasaka yui earns a permanent place on my watchlist
