C2C Lore

C2C is a French turntablism group formed in 1998 in Nantes or the fusion of two already existing groups: Bit Torrent formed by Pfel and Atom (electro) with Hocus Pocus formed by 20Syl and Greem (hip-hop / soul).
Together, they earned the largest amount of turntablism competitions for a french group:

2003 - Disco Mix Club (DMC)
2004 - Disco Mix Club (DMC)
2005- Disco Mix Club (DMC)
2006 - Disco Mix Club (DMC)
2006 - #1 International Turntablist Federation (ITF)

We should also notice that Pfel brought a silver medal at the individual DMC competition in 2005.
The group also got two national music awards for this track (FUYA) and its video clip.

After their competitive period, they broke up to re-form in 2010 and release their first album: "Tetr4" from which this tune comes from. The song "Le Banquet" is a collaboration of C2C with other famous turntablists such as Tigerstyle, Netik, Rafik, Vajra and Kentaro. This album will bring them a platinium disk 2 months after it's release. You might know their most famous song,"Down The Road"without knowing it as it was used in a Dr.Pepper ad.
In the end, with their Soul and oldschool inspirations, C2C is or at least has been one of the most influent and rewarded French turntablism group.
